Welcome to our practice! We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of asthma, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), food and medication allergies, eczema and hives, insect sting allergies and chronic sinusitis. Our goal is to educate patients of all ages about their condition and help them have a better quality of life.
At your first visit with our group, we will review your symptoms, take a detailed history, including environmental data and do a physical exam of your respiratory system.
Dr. Robert Ziering
Dr. Ziering specializes in treating adult and pediatric allergies and asthma. He received his medical degree from the University of Brussels and completed his residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He also completed fellowships at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and UCSD.
He has been in practice for 40 years with the Allergy and Immunology Medical Group. A board-certified physician, he is a member of American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the San Diego Allergy Society.
Dr. Ziering lives in San Diego with his wife and two children. He is fluent in French, Flemish and Spanish.
Angela Bretton FNP-BC
Angela Bretton is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in healthcare for the past 20
years. She is a graduate from Palomar College of Nursing, and has 10 years of experience as a surgical
and urgent care nurse. In 2013, she returned to nursing school at California State University of San
Marcos to obtain her Master’s and Nurse Practitioner’s degree. She has experience in specialized
medical care, urgent care, and disease management for ages 18 months & older with allergies and
asthma.
Angela lives in Escondido with her family and 3 dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, crafting,
going to movies & Padres games, and spending time with her 5 grandchildren.
